Indus Robotics Society is managed by a team of highly qualified professionals with extensive experience in education, academia, and skill development.
Guided by industry expertise, the Society is committed to nurturing students both fundamentally and practically through structured learning, hands-on interventions, and experiential training.
The objective is to help students build strong domain knowledge, develop employable skills, and prepare themselves for future careers with confidence.
By fostering logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability, the Society equips young learners to face academic, professional, and competitive challenges successfully.
Indus Robotics Society was established in 2017. The Society signed a Memorandum of Understanding with For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, USA. The Society conducted robotics competitions in India under the MOU in the year 2017-18 and 2018-19. Students aged 12 to 16 years are eligible to form teams and participate. Indus Robotics Society conducts school outreach to form teams and support participation.
Further Indus Robotics Society signed an MOU with BEST Robotics Inc. a non profit organisation based in USA in the April 2022 to introduce innovative robotics competition which boasts of ideation to manufacturing proces whihc actually makes students the real roboticist which are sought after by Corporates.
Multiple corporates have supported the initiative. These include PTC, John Deere, Qualcomm, NRB Bearings Ltd., Filtrum Ltd., STPI and Rotary International. The initiative encouraged participation from rural students and students from informal settlements. The Society provides a platform for students to display technical skill and problem solving.
OUR SERVICES
Robotics Competitions
Indus Robotics Society organises Robotics and AI competitions aligned to customised formats. Competitions develop teamwork, design thinking and technical skills. Eligibility and rules are listed for each season.
School Outreach
We form teams at partner schools. We provide kits, training and mentorship. Priority is given to rural and low-income schools.
Skill Development Workshops
Hands-on workshops covering electronics, programming, CAD, and soft skills. Workshops are modular and age-appropriate.
Teacher Training
Programs for school teachers to deliver STEM curriculum effectively.
Community Technology Projects
Applied projects in dairy tech, precision agriculture, water management, and environment monitoring. Projects are co-designed with communities.

Impact Measurement
Our entire focus is on creating an impact on the community on which we are working with the Sponsor. We ourselves get involved directly to first understand the levels of the beneficiary so that we are able to further assess the impact through direct interactions and project based evaluation and understand the shift in the knowledge base.
